I explore my bodily language to create a new dance language. This exploration is conducted by analysing my dance in different contexts, taking my body, the material world and contrasting perspectives like capitalism and decolonization into account. Today you will see a fragment of one of our rehearsals. 

We work towards a dance theatre performance called ctrl + alt + identity, in which we aim to increase consciousness about the marginalized position of women of colour in The Netherlands. Herefore, I am conducting a decolonial and intersectional approach, trying to involve women of colour in the artistic team but also building a learning community.
